Manqoba Mngqithi (born 25 April 1971 in Umzimkhulu) is a South African soccer coach who was most recently head coach of Mamelodi Sundowns. He has managed a number of clubs in the Premiership.[1][2] He is a former schoolteacher by profession.[3]
In 2020 Mngqithi became co-coach of Mamelodi Sundowns alongside Rulani Mokwena. In October 2022, "Mngqithi was assigned to a new role as Sundowns' senior coach in what was a demotion from the position of co-coach, working under new head coach Rhulani Mokwena".[4]
Mngqithi took over as head coach following Mokwena's departure in July 2024
He was dismissed by Sundowns in December 2024 after a poor start to the season.[5]
